Working hours

This role requires staff to work one of two shifts (which will alternate between team members). The morning shift is from 6:00 - 14:00 and the evening shift (outside daylight savings) from 9:30 - 18:00 and (with daylight savings) from 10:00 - 18.30. These hours may vary based on, but not limited to, issues like system problems.

Purpose of Job

Part of RisCura Analytics team

The team relies upon the timelines and accuracy of the data received from external vendors. This role encompasses the receipt, processing and delivery of all maket data, and the processes that transform and provide this informationto end users.

  • Developing relationships and contracting data providers.
  • Troubleshooting.
  • Buidling out the data management process.
  • Feeding back to key stakeholders including Research and Development team and users of data.

Key Competencies, Skills & Attributes

  • SQL (preferably MS SQL) knowledge and skill essential.
  • Computer programming skills essential.
  • Knowledge of VB, VB.net advantageous.
  • Good understanding of extracting data from MS SQL server into Microsoft Office products.
  • Able to run and check data processes and data integrity.
  • Has knowledge of financial instruments.
  • Able to assist with upgrading of internal business application sytems.
  • Must maintain relationships with external service providers.
  • Identifying and resolving data issues and keeping track of progress through issue tracking software.
  • Ability to safegurad integrity of sensitive data.
  • Communicates clearly, both verbally and in writing, to obtain onformation.
  • Quick learner.
  • Self-motivated.
  • Pays attention to detail.
  • Able to work independently and use initiative.
  • Working irregular hours.
  • Willing to put in long hours when needed
